     TopicSmart Editors will add listings to pages in the topic of their choosing .  TopicSmart's organization, ease of use and the thorough development of the topic will be what attracts viewers/users to the site which in turn will attract advertisers and encourage still more businesses to list , advertise  and work with us.  

   
       As an Editor, once you have developed a page that is superior to what can be found in any given topic, you are ready to make use of its value.  This is done by offering: advertising on that page, web development services, and other services that would be of interest to those on the page or visiting the page. 

   (If you already HAVE a website - you can become a Partner instead of an Editor.)

HOW  DO EDITORS PROFIT ?
      As an editor, once you have built a substantial page on any topic, you will be ready to contact advertisers and others interested in that topic. 

It becomes a marketable "product" when:

              1) this directory is part of a directory of many, many topics

              2) people will come to rely upon this directory as their primary search  destination.  
As you contact those interested in your topic, you will , by way of your own skills or as a result of the contacts you have made --- have many products and services to offer

               1) advertising space

               2) web design

               3) site or page development

               4) networking services and etc.

Each editor has the freedom to use their product (page) as they like, (within reason) with just a few  basic guidelines in the layout, and each editor's success will create a stronger foundation for all.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED ? 
      At the most basic level, an Editor will need a phone and a computer with access to the Internet.  You then build the topic page(s) of your choice and refer out the business that results to web designers, developers, network specialists, etc., who work with you on a referral fee or percentage basis.  If you have web design skills, your connection to a national directory will offer you a professional basis on which to present yourself to each business you contact.  You are able to put your own particular skills to work.
